Learn how to create imaginative garden borders by combining plants for structure, form, colour and all the year round interest, with tutors from the highly respected English Gardening School, Chelsea.
Choosing and placing plants is one of the most exacting parts of creating a garden, each plant having its own characteristics, situation and soil preferences. The aim of this four day course is to help participants create and draw up an individual planting plan with memorable, lasting groupings suited to personal inclination and location. Consideration will be given to both foliage and flower combinations, including styles, textures, colour clashes and harmonies.
Tutors will be Rosemary Alexander, FSGD and Principal of the English Gardening School, and Simon Pyle, Dip.EGS and Vice Principal.
Some basic knowledge of gardening is required, and on completion of the course a Certificate of Attendance will be given.

Wednesday 21st April – Course begins 10.00 – 1.00pm Afternoon free
6.00 pm - Early evening tour of Reid’s garden, followed by welcome cocktail at the Cocktail Bar
Thursday 22nd April – Course continues 10.00 – 1.00pm
Lunch and afternoon visit to local gardens
Friday 23rd April – Course continues 10.00 – 1.00pm

Cost for the above programme - €340 per person (excluding flights and accommodation).
Students booking both the Botancial Flower Painting Class and Designing with Plants Master Class will recieve a 15% discount of the class cost.
