Reid’s is a traditional deluxe resort, where many sport and leisure facilities are at your disposal.
Pools
There are 3 swimming pools: 2 are seawater swimming pools - including 1 heated at 76/84ºF, and 1 is freshwater heated.
One of our pools is located at the sea level platform (with direct access to the ocean) and two others are by the Pool Terrace.
Outdoor activities
The hotel also offers two tennis courts (free of charge), a sauna, windsurfing (free of charge during summer), fishing, scuba diving, billiards and Levada walks.
Fitness Room
The hotel offers a 500 square feet gym with wonderful views over the ocean; equipped with LifeStyle cardio-training equipment, free weights. The Fitness room has changing rooms with sauna and steam room.
The access to our Fitness Room is free of charge for Reid’s guests.
Dancing classes, Portuguese classes, Wine tasting, and Aqua-gym are also available.

Reid's Boutique
The boutique is located on the fifth floor of the main building and offers a wide selection of small presents and souvenirs. From Portuguese hand-painted tiles to the famous Madeira embroidery, crystal and other items which will enchant you. Reid's and Orient-Express merchandise gifts are also available for ladies and gentlemen.
